Who we are

Confluxion Point is a construction workflow automation firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah, serving general contractors and home builders across Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, and Arizona. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit confluxionpoint.com or engage us for services.

References to “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Confluxion Point. References to “you” refer to the visitor, prospect, or client interacting with our site or our team.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the site, respond to inquiries, and deliver work we've been hired to do. Specifically:

  • Information you submit. Name, business email, phone, company, role, and any context you include in a contact form, calendar booking, or email to us.
  • Calendar booking data. When you book a call with us, our scheduling provider records the meeting time, time zone, and any answers to intake questions.
  • Usage and analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages get read, how visitors arrive, and how the site performs. This includes IP address (anonymized), device and browser type, referring URL, and pages viewed.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. We use a small number of first-party and third-party cookies for analytics and for remembering your preferences. See “Cookies” below.
  • Engagement and project data. If we're engaged for a project, we may receive access to your systems (e.g., Sage, Procore, SharePoint), files, and process documentation strictly to complete the scope of work in our signed agreement.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and we do not sell personal information.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule and conduct calls.
  • Prepare scopes of work, proposals, and contracts in response to a request.
  • Deliver the services we've been engaged to perform, including building, testing, and supporting automation systems.
  • Send transactional communications (e.g., scheduling confirmations, project updates, invoices).
  • Improve our site, our outreach, and the quality of our work.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We will only send marketing emails to people who have opted in or who have an existing business relationship with us, and every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only with the service providers we rely on to run our business, and only as needed for them to perform their function. These include:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that serve this website and store our business records.
  • Analytics providers (Google Analytics) that help us understand site usage.
  • Scheduling and email providers that handle calendar bookings and business correspondence.
  • CRM and outreach tools (e.g., HubSpot) that organize prospect and client records.
  • Professional advisors (accountants, attorneys, insurers) when needed and under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and regulatory bodies when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or those of our clients.

If we're engaged on a project, the access you grant us to your systems is governed by the signed services agreement and any accompanying confidentiality or data-handling terms.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help the site function and that let us understand traffic. We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies required for the site to load and function.
  • Analytics cookies from Google Analytics that count visits and measure page performance in aggregate.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect site functionality but will not prevent you from reading any of the content here.

How we protect information

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. These include access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege access to client systems, and limited retention. We restrict access to client data to the team members working on the engagement.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take any incident involving your information seriously and will notify you as required by law.

How long we keep information

We retain information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or for as long as we're required to by law, contract, or legitimate business interest (e.g., tax records, dispute resolution, fraud prevention). Prospect inquiries that don't lead to an engagement are typically retained for up to two years and then deleted on a routine cycle. Project records are retained for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period after, consistent with our professional obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Confirm what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate.
  • Delete information we hold about you, subject to our legal and contractual retention obligations.
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us directly.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at team@confluxionpoint.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or communicated to active clients directly.
